Erin Henry | BIO


Erin Henry, originally from Massachusetts, has been performing professionally across the country and all over the world for over fourteen years. She grew up in a musical family and started singing at a very young age. She had the pleasure of growing up singing alongside her father, Mattie Henry, and over the years they have recorded numerous albums together; “Thy Word, A Light Unto My Path” and “Our Wedding Day, Songs for the Ceremony and Reception.” Erin graduated from the Catholic University Benjamin T. Rome’s School of Music with a Bachelor in Music and specialty in music theatre. After graduating, she performed as a singer/dancer at Tokyo Disneyland in Japan. Some of Erin’s other credits include; First National Tours: Sister Act (Swing/dance captain), Grease (Patty Simcox), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Ethel Peas). Favorite Regional Credits: Meet Me in St. Louis (Paper Mill Playhouse), A Wonderful Life (Paper Mill Playhouse), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (North Shore Music Theatre), Legally Blonde (Gateway Playhouse), Annie Get Your Gun (North Caroline Theatre), Footloose (North Shore Music Theatre/Cape Playhouse). Erin originated the role of Cindy in Twice Charmed the musical on board Disney Cruise Line, where she can be heard on the cast recording. In New York City, she has performed in Broadway Bares at the Roseland Ballroom, The Broadway Easter Bonnet at Minskoff theatre and has sung in numerous concerts and benefits at the Lucille Lortel theatre. In addition to performing, Erin served as the assistant choreographer for the second national touring company of Sister Act and went on to re-create this original choreography at The Ogunquit Playhouse in Maine.
